The new Gyroscope Places
Redesigned to be faster, simpler and smarter!
Once of the most important changes is that we’ve optimized the tracking to use much less battery in the background, while still being accurate.
Better Accuracy
For people who want higher accurate and more detailed lines on the map, the high accuracy mode will boost the granularity of the tracking and use slightly more battery (but still less than it used to).
Simpler Design
The app has been streamlined and all of Places is now one simple tab, with some advanced maps and tools available in settings.
Accessing older days
Some people have been scrolling back for minutes to go to older days. While that does work, an easier way to go back in time to any day is to access it from your monthly reports and then tap the date you want to jump to. At the bottom of each daily report, you’ll see the Places timeline for that day.
New Maps & Tools
From the Settings, you can access advanced tools to see all your older history and custom maps from any time period in your past.
Review all your cities and countries through the passport, see beautiful maps of your walking and driving around town, and an analysis of the types of places you visit.
These features are now available in the latest Gyroscope Pro app update in the App Store!
